Just Arrived: New Fall 2013 Vintage at Weisshouse

Our buyers just returned from fall market with a truck load of amazing vintage finds like a 6' wide apothecary cabinet, a rustic work bench that could be re-purposed as a desk or table and a set of ten adjustable height chrome stools just to name a few. We plan to feature as many of our new vintage arrivals as we possibly can in the coming weeks, but this little collection was inspired by a tour on Apartment Therapy of a couple who know how to mix rustic and eclectic pieces with a result that is a warm, inviting home for two! Black, White & Bold: Stripes

We love the effect that horizontal stripes have and they can be achieved on any budget. You can paint them for almost nothing...leftover paint and tape. You can also go high end and choose a luxurious wall covering printed in vertical stripes and turn it. Weisshouse designer, Stan Adamik created a huge impact in a small room when he used black & white striped wall covering in a powder room. Bold stripes aren't reserved just for small spaces though. Bold stripes above a mantle would be an amazing focal point in a living room and a striped interior door could prove to be a very chic and memorable statement.
