Just Announced: The Pantone Color of the Year is Marsala

There has been a lot of buzz around the announcement of Pantone’s 2015 Color of the Year – Marsala.

This subdued hue seems a swift departure from last year’s Radiant Orchid or 2013s Emerald. Instead, Marsala offers a subtle warmth that serves as a hearty statement color for the chillier seasons. And while some have expressed some reservations about the color’s strength to weather Spring and Summer styles, we think that the welcoming red-brown is a bold accent that will make your pastels pop.

While exploring our floor, we found Marsala sprinkled throughout the showroom. Below is a sampling of our favorites in next year’s hot hue.

Described as modern and surprisingly versatile, Pantone has announced that THE hot color for the next year is Radiant Orchid. This color adds energy and youthfulness to any color palette - particularly, warm neutrals and grays. This year, you'll see Radiant Orchid on chairs, sofas, rugs, wall coverings, pillows and more. Emerald: THE Color for 2013

Pantone has recently announced that Emerald is the 2013 Color of the Year. Expect to see emerald pop up everywhere this year! Emerald will be the upcoming year's hot color in fashion and home decor. There's even an iPhone case that features Pantone 17-5641 Emerald.
