We are freshly stocked with a new batch of vintage furniture and accessories! Our latest buying trip brought back piles of great industrial chic items, from classic Americana to rustic European designs.

We love to create a layered look that makes a space feel well traveled and lived in. Adding vintage to the mix is a great way to blend contemporary and traditional while adding depth to your decor.

Vintage Steel Doctors Cabinet • Europe, 1950s

Vintage Steel Locker. A remnant of an examination room of a doctor’s office circa 1950s Europe. Time worn patina with working hardware and adjustable shelves. Age appropriate wear.

New Castle School Lights • Green

Vintage enamel school light crafted in green and white porcelain over a metal form. Can be displayed on the floor or hung. Beautiful industrial color and great collectors item. Age appropriate wear, some damage to wiring but easily repaired.

Returning Board In / Out

Vintage employee register manufactured out of wood by Heirco of Buffalo New York. Secretaries would set the piece from one side to be viewed from the other side. Metal name slots available for worker names. Time is indicated by red sliding pieces from 9:00 am through 10:00 pm on both sides.

Vintage American Shuffleboard Scoreboard

A great piece of Americana for vintage game collectors! American Shuffleboard House League chalk scoreboard. Some faded text still visible. Minor water damage on back, not visible when hung. Age appropriate wear.

Late Spring Furniture Arrivals at Weisshouse

This painted wicker side table's construction is completely intact. The top and sides are stable. We assume this piece is  probably from the turn-of-the-century. The paint has a beautiful aged patina.

Originally made by American of Martinsville in the 1970s, this handsome piece lived its life as a wood chest until it was painted with high gloss auto paint at a body shop. The chest is now totally updated with a really glamorous personality! We just love the back stories and rich histories of vintage furniture.

Danish Modern design:
This Vintage Hans Wegner-inspired folding chair (wood and rattan painted wood and cane) would be great indoors or out (covered)!

We think this antique farmer's stool will add charm and rustic sophistication to any interior.

Before & After: A Look Back

It's always fun to look back on past projects. It's even more fun to compare the "Before" and "After" photos. Check out a selection of our best before and after looks below. Remember, Weisshouse offers complete top to bottom interior design services. 

The photos below feature a beautiful home in Squirrel Hill. The clients (a couple with young children) came to Weisshouse for help updating their home office, master bathroom and kitchen. Weisshouse designer, Ron Reinheimer was able to reflect the traditional beauty of the house but move the interior into the 21st century. In addition to selecting beautiful furniture, Ron created an airy sophisticated palette of color, accessories and artwork.
